Alter Egos - The Yin-Yang, night and day, dark and light relationships. We’ve all got one and some show them more than others do. A side of ourselves that is rarely seen by anyone other than those unfortunate enough to see them. How well is yours controlled and when will it appear?
I’m looking for cars to shoot in the tri-state area! Anyone want to hire a mobile photographer? :D
One of my favorite shots that I did with my buddy Jimmy in Japan. We were wandering around out in town when we found what looked like old railroad tracks. We started to follow them and sure enough, a very old railroad track started to emerge and we decided to follow it, however long it went. I snapped this of Jimmy when he started fooling around on the them.
Smoking is a part of Japanese culture now-a-days. I mean, I’m sure it was before the Western World showed up, but if you go to Japan now, you’re more likely to see more people smoking on one street than you will in a whole day in the states. And even with all that smoking, the streets are cleaner because people respect their city.
This photo is of a Japanese Smoking Room inside one of the malls. Instead of making people go outside and into the cold, wind, or rain, they’ve made little rooms scattered throughout the mall (and airports!) that have built in ventilation to keep the smoke from gathering. As a result, they’re usually very clean and don’t smell like smoke at all.
